The Ultimate Ninja Game can be played by anyone aged 8 and up, although younger children should play under adult supervision to avoid getting hurt.
Things to prepare for the Ultimate Ninja Game
You don’t have to prepare anything for a fun time with the Ultimate Ninja Game. If you’re worried that a player may fall and hurt themselves, you may optionally prepare soft mats to break their fall.
How to Play the Ultimate Ninja Game
The most important things to remember when playing the Ultimate Ninja Game are that there are two moves: the attack and the dodge. Before you begin, do briefly explain these rules to your players.
The Attack
The attack refers to the moment when one player can attempt to hit the other players. This must be done in a single swift motion, and the player can only hit their opponent’s hands.
If you successfully hit the next player, they will be eliminated. Should you miss, you must hold your current position until it’s their turn to move.
The Dodge
In a bid to avoid The Attack, you may engage The Dodge. This refers to the motion in which you must avoid getting hit on your hands by your opponent. You can only do this in one swift motion, and you must hold your position until someone else makes a move.
3 Steps to playing the Ultimate Ninja Game
Step 1: Have your players stand in a circle. Your game will go in a clockwise motion, with players taking their turns to attack another player.
Remember that if it’s your turn, you can engage in The Attack move. Your opponents can then engage in The Dodge. Players must stay in the same position they have ended up in until someone else takes their move.
Step 2: If it’s your turn and you don’t want to attack another player, you can take a single move to place yourself in a defense position. Remember that all moves are only in one motion, and you must hold the position until it’s someone else’s turn.
Step 3: Continue engaging in The Attack and The Dodge until all players have been eliminated. The last player in the circle who did not get hit will be crowned The Ultimate Ninja.
