Group Size and Age

Preparation and Materials
The best thing about Zip Zap Zop is that you don’t have to prepare anything beforehand. This makes Zip Zap Zop a convenient party game in case you weren’t prepared for games, as you’ll only have to explain the rules to the players and start playing.
How to play Zip Zap Zop
To play Zip Zap Zop, you’ll have to gather all the players in a circle. You can play Zip Zap Zop while standing or seated, and you don’t need a lot of space to do this. Here’s a guide on how to play Zip Zap Zop once everyone is ready to begin:
Step 1: Pick a player to start. They must first clap their hands and say, “Zip” before pointing at another player in the circle. This can be anyone around the group, and it doesn’t have to be in any fixed direction of the circle.
Step 2: The player that was pointed to must then clap their hands and say, “Zap” immediately before pointing to another player. They can point it back to the first player if they wish or pick someone else from the circle.
Step 3: The third player (Or first if they were pointed to again) will have to clap their hands and say, “Zop” and point to yet another player.
Step 4: The sequence goes back to “Zip” after the third player, and every player must follow the game in the sequence of Zip Zap Zop. If they hesitate or mention the wrong sequence, they will lose. The last player remaining in the circle wins.
If it is played as a drinking game, the players have to drink every time they are too slow to react.
Alternative ways to play Zip Zap Zop
