How to play How Far Can You Go?

Aside from being a noisy group game, How Far Can You Go is also an active group game. You may begin the game by sorting your players into groups or have them play as individuals if you have smaller groups.

Step 1: Line your players by a starting line and instruct them to run toward the other side of the room. You may use cones to determine the end if you’re at a field or want to set boundaries in a closed space.

Step 2: Pick 1 player to be the judge and have him or her yell, “Go!” to start the game.

Your players must then run and begin yelling, “Ahh,” for as long as they are moving. They must stop running when they run out of breath.

If they make it to the end of the room without running out of breath, they must then double back and continue to run back and forth. The player that can run the farthest or longest while yelling, “Ahh,” will win the game.

Because all your players are yelling, “Ahh,” simultaneously, the group game How Far Can You Go can be quite noisy, so it may not be suitable to be played at night.
